The recreational Muaythai program focuses on developing, cementing, and refining students’ basic thaiboxing fundamentals. Students will learn how to weave these techniques into easy, but solid combinations. Also, the conditioning exercises build up the foundation of cardiovascular fitness and strength needed for Muaythai practice. This class is coed and although it does involve body contact drills combined with light technical sparring, there is a strict NO HEAD CONTACT policy in place.
A typical workout consists of calisthenics, stretching, 2-3 rounds (2 minutes each) of Thai pad work and/or technical sparring.
